GENERAL POLICIES

Thank you for choosing K9 Venues, LLC for your training needs.  Our policies are designed to support a safe, fun, collaborative educational environment and to create a structure that is fair to the customer, the dogs, and our business.

We are a R+ facility and therefore do not allow use of aversive training tools/techniques such as e-collars, pinch/prong collars, choke chains, leash corrections, etc. If your interested in ways to replace these tools/techniques gives us a call and we’d be happy to setup a consult to discuss options and develop a plan.

Vaccinations / Canine Health

Dogs must be up to date with vaccines according to the schedule recommended by your veterinarian.  Puppies must have received their second set of vaccinations at least 5 days prior to visiting K9 Venues, LLC.  If your dog is ill, do not bring him to class - you may choose to attend class without your dog and then practice at home when your dog is feeling better.

Heat Cycles / In Season

Female dogs who are in season are allowed in class if wearing “panties”.

Ring Rentals

We don’t not offer agility practice ring rental.

Potty Accident Policy

If your dog repeatedly marks or potties in the building, they will be excused from classes.

Prevent accidents:

• Take multiple outside potty breaks, if needed.

• If you think your dog may pee, use a belly band or panties as an insurance policy

Handle an accident properly by IMMEDIATELY spot cleaning the area thoroughly with the spray cleaner located near the ring

Weather Related Closures

Based on road or air quality conditions, we may have a weather related closure. In such case, we will notify those scheduled to attend classes via email and/or text message.  

Liability Waivers

All adult participants are required to sign a liability waiver prior to starting class. If a minor child will be participating, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver on their behalf.
